HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUNNER!

Today our baby boy is three! The time has gone by so quickly. He brings SO much to our lives. He brings craziness, happiness, and so much love.
Gunner loves:
His blanket
his brother and sister
waffles and pancakes
Clone Wars
Cars
running, jumping, getting into things
his Dadda's trucks and motorcycle

We love Gunner because:
He shakes when he gets excited
His smile
The way he uses "d's" and "f's" to start almost every word
(I dood at detting das, or "don't fross the freet", and "Dama")
when he asks a ? he repeats your answer followed by "right"
a hug always makes it all better

Legoland

My dad's office is down the street from Legoland and about a month ago he got a flyer saying that Carlsbad businesses could get Legoland tickets for $15!! So two weeks ago was the day we were able to go and our kids were so excited. I have to say that is was a little better for Makenna than Gunner since he was about and inch to short for most of the bigger rides he wanted to go on, but they had a lot of Bob the Builder and Star Wars so he was in heaven! It was a great deal for our whole family to get in for the price of one ticket.

Happy Mothers' Day

Today Makenna gave me a Mothers' Day gift with a card she had wrote at school. This is what it said "I Love, my mommy becus she thros me on the corch." (I love my mommy because she throws me on the couch". The funny part is I have never thrown her on the couch, she must have gotten me confused with her dad who does throw them onto the couch when he is playing with them. It was probably one of those times that having grandma as a teacher comes in handy because who knows what some teacher would have thought or did if Kenna told her that her mom throws her on the couch (she once tuirned Cory telling her to scream into her pillow so we didn't have to hear it to "my dad put a pillow over my face"- not so good). The card made gave us all a laugh because I know she tried really hard to write it. It is one of those things that make you glad to be a mom and the funny little things your kids say and do to get you throuhg a long day and put a smile on your face.
