Our kids are stinkin' awesome!

At the end of July we met Cory's aunt and uncle at Lake Mead. Makenna loved having a bunch a little cousins that were all her age. A couple days into the trip we went to Bass Pro Shop, and having a little bit of extra money and a vast amount of things to buy = a cart full of fun toys for the lake! Cory thought it would be fun to buy the kids some waterskis. The were so excited to give them a try and, thanks to Cory's uncle and cousins, they picked it up so fast! Gunner was actually the first of the kids to stand up...he looked funny because he was so little, it was adorable! We are going to have to take a few more trips this summer to keep them practicing!

4th of July (yes posted in September)

We had a wonderful 4th of July in Boulder City with our friends, the Ball's. The city put on an amazing fireworks show and the weather was cool (98 degrees-usually it is closer to 110). The is also the first year that none of our kids (Gunner) cried during the fireworks! It was just one of the great parts of a great trip!

Lake Mead

We spent the 4th of July weekend at Lake Mead with our friends the Ball's and the Anderson's. We had a blast on the lake, swimming and tubing and playing in the dirt. Gage spent most of his time sleeping under the steering wheel. the mommies tubed with the little guys and we all colled off in the lake. We had such a great time and were so glad that our friends helped to make it a great trip!

Happy Birthday Gage!

Gage turned 2 on June 12. We had a small family party on his birthday. Because his brother had a birthday 2 weeks ago, he was starting to understand birthdays and was so excited when the cake was for him and he got ot blow out the candle. We had fun playing on the water slide, eating pizza, and decorating cupcakes.
He is such a sweet little boy with quite a temper that peeks through every so often. He loves hugs and kisses and cuddles. He loves playing with his brother. Gage is also our animal lover. He loves our dog and he was so excited to get his own little pet, a turtle. He kept saying "shurtle" over and over again. We love our little baby boy who is growing into a big boy way too fast!

For our friend's birthday we went to Citywalk and they guys that were with us did the indoor skydiving. Cory was a speck tall, but he was still able to get up there. We followed that up by a yummy dinner...a great date night!

Vasquez Rocks

A couple months ago (I know I am behind) we were looking for something fun (and free) to go do. It was a beautiful day so Cory suggested Vasquez Rocks. The kids LOVED it! They had a blast being outside running around and climbing the rocks. The kids were having such a great time that we had to go get lunch at Jack's and come back for a little more climbing time.
